Hello! My name is Aria Baker and I am excited to be joining the pickleball community in Eugene.  My husband, Matt, and I relocated to the Eugene area in March. Matt works in banking, I work for the State of Oregon in child welfare.  We have two daughters who both enjoy playing pickleball with us. One is an elementary school teacher, and the other is a student at University of Oregon. Matt and I met up the road at another university.

I served as a board member with West Linn’s Willamette River Pickleball Club, and was involved with organizing club socials, inter-club challenges, CPR/first aid/AED trainings, development and dissemination of weekly play tips of the week, play session hosting, and collaboration with city parks and rec.

Additionally, Matt and I were members and weekly advanced play session hosts at Rolling Hills Pickleball Club, where we were volunteer coaches at Down Syndrome Network of Oregon’s pickleball events.

I love pickleball but the best part is the amazing people I’ve met through pickleball. My passion really is to make pickleball accessible and inclusive through building pickleball community. Matt and I are excited to be here in Eugene and look forward to meeting you on the court soon!
