Doug recently retired from teaching after 34 years in the Beaverton school district.  He and his wife moved to Eugene to be closer to their daughter and son-in-law.

He has been familiar with pickleball for over 30 years but the last 3 years he has played in tournaments and league play, improving his skills associated with the game.

Doug’s passion has always been teaching and helping others improve and learn new skills.
