Six different skills will be tested with points awarded for successful shots. "spoiler alert". Practice deep serves and returns, pinpoint 3rd shot drops and forehand and backhand drives. $10 entry. There will be two divisions. 3.4 and below and 3.5 and up. Prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals in each Division. Registration limited to 120 participants.

  • Station 1 - PINPOINT SERVE

    • Each participant will get 5 attempts for a legal serve that land in the back 3 feet of the court which is marked off by tape. 

    • For each serve within 3 feet of the back line, the participant will earn 2-points. Serves in the correct service box but short of the 3-foot line are worth 1 point.

    • After five attempts each player gets one bonus serve to try to hit one target which will be in the back corner of the service zone. If the target is hit in the air, the player is awarded 10 bonus points.

  • Station 2 - PINPOINT RETURN

    • Each participant will have five hand-fed tosses from near their baseline to return the shot anywhere inside three-foot taped area inside the opposite base line.

    • Each return that lands within that three-foot area, 2 points will be awarded. Each return that lands in the court, but short of the three-foot taped area, receives 1 point.

    • After five attempts, the player receives one bonus shot to hit one target located in the center back “T” of the base line. If the target is hit in the air, the player will be awarded 10 points.

  • Station 3 - DROP SHOT

    • Each participant will have five hand-fed tosses to hit a drop shot from just inside the baseline into the kitchen.

    • Any shot landing in the kitchen is awarded 2 points. Any shot over the net that lands inbounds, but not in the kitchen is worth 1 point.

    • After five attempts, the player receives one bonus shot to hit one target located in the corner of the kitchen. If the target is hit in the air, the player will be awarded 10 points.

  • Station 4 - BACKHAND DRIVE

    • Each participant will have five hand-fed tosses, from just inside the baseline, to hit a down-the-line drive shot into a fishing net located at the backside of the pickleball net.

    • Each shot that goes into the fishing net will be awarded 2 points.

    • After five attempts, the player receives one bonus shot to one smaller fishing net located at the back side of the center of the pickleball net. If the shot goes into the fishing net, the player will be awarded 10 points.

  • Station 5 - FOREHAND DRIVE

    • Each participant will have five hand-fed tosses, from just inside the baseline, to hit a down the line drive shot into a fishing net at the backside of the pickleball net.

    • Each shot that goes into the fishing net will be awarded two points

    • After five attempts, the player receives one bonus shot to hit into a smaller fishing net located at the backside of the center of the net. If that shot goes into the fishing net, the player will be awarded 10 points.

  • Station 6 - BING BANG VOLLEY

    • There will be a taped line, representing the kitchen line, that will be approximately 4 to 5 feet from the wall.

    • You will have 20 seconds to volley one ball continuously against the wall without going into the kitchen.

    • Points awarded by total number of volleys in that 20 second time period.

      • 5 to 10 volleys = 2 points

      • 11 to 20 volleys = 5 points

      • 20 to 25 volleys = 8 points

      • 25 to 30 volleys = 10 points

      • 31 to 35 volleys = 15 points

      • 35 plus volleys = 20 points
